Rather excited to begin my first blog, as well as to begin my trip abroad.
As of now I am quite nervous - too nervous to put anything into the nice backpackers bag I bought, too nervous to sleep, and I have quite the case of tummy butterflies!
It is also storming outside and I can hear all the crashing of debris from the construction site next door as I lay in bed typing. The power also keeps going on and off and I am too nervous to sleep!
Hopefully I will get my act together tomorrow and not forget anything (too) important before I head home to Houston.
